Extruders

Our American Kuhne extruders are designed for use in energy markets, fiber optics, telecom, building, automotive, construction, medical, and oil. For customized cable and wire production, choose from our AKcent Portable Co-Extruder series or our advanced ULTRA R/S Extruder systems.

These complete systems have very low tension take-up and payoffs, servo-driven capstans, capacitance/diameter control, and Steward feed screws. In addition, you’ll find one of three Navigator touch screen control systems for comprehensive operator production oversight.

Downstream Equipment

Graham Engineering stands behind every extruder we offer with 24/7 service, wet testing prior to shipment, free spare parts with every machine, and a three-year warranty. Depending on your needs and which system you choose, you can enjoy our EZ-Tilt mechanisms for safe, quick, and accurate angular adjustment.

In addition, the ULTRA includes our special FlipOpen feed section that opens with the push of a button. That gives you complete access to the equipment for quick and efficient service and maintenance.

Controls

Our control system options include one of three Navigator systems: XC100, XC200, XC300. These powerful systems are functional and streamlined for discrete operational controls for either a single extruder or over multiple systems.

Graham Engineering can mount the complete control system right on the extruder base or on the floor, whichever is most convenient for your operators. The Navigator will allow you to monitor production and make adjustments to ensure your wire and cable end products remain on point from the first one to the last.
