Title: Industrial Electrician

Reports to: Production Manager
Location: York, PA FLSA
Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for wiring and troubleshooting all types of machines and equipment produced by Graham Engineering.

Responsibilities and Priorities:

1. Builds machines from shop packets and schematics under the supervision of a Senior Industrial Electrician.
2. Drills and taps holes for mounting electrical components.
3. Performs various electrical calculations such as ohm’s law, etc.
4. Uses tools such as volt ohm amp meters, wire strippers, and soldering iron.
5. Makes up wiring harnesses, installs conduit and pulls wires.
6. Wires electrical equipment, cabinets and other components.
7. Communicates non-conformances and opportunities for improvement when schematics and shop packets need to be corrected.
8. Maintains good housekeeping and follows safety rules.
9. All other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in machine/industrial wiring or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of and familiarity with codes such as NEC and OSHA regulations.

• Must be available to work overtime as needed throughout the week and/or weekends.
