GEC Linear and Rotary Shuttle Blow Molding Systems

GEC Linear and Rotary Shuttle Blow Molding machinery is the result of advanced technology developed and refined on more than 3,000 systems installed over the last 50 years on six continents. GEC Shuttle machines process virtually any thermoplastic to produce containers from five ML to six liters. GEC equipment conforms to all international safety and operating standards including OSHA and CE certification.

GEC Linear and Rotary Shuttle machines offer maximum flexibility for delivering ideal packaging solutions:

  • Single and multi-cavity production up to 24 cavities
  • Monolayer and coextrusion
  • Calibrated neck finishes
  • In-mold labeling
  • View stripe enhancements
  • Wall thickness regulation
  • Leak testing
  • Oriented part takeout options

Coextrusion
Our rotary shuttle machines are designed with more stations, for fewer parisons, an ideal configuration for coextrusion and the value-added enhancement of view stripes.
Typical applications include:

  • Personal care bottles with a thin outside wall of color or gloss
  • Detergent bottles with virgin inner and outer layers and a post-consumer scrap middle layer
  • Motor oil bottles with a view stripe
  • Agricultural chemical bottles including a barrier layer
