Founded in 1960 and privately owned by The Graham Group, Graham Engineering Corporation (GEC) is headquartered in York, Pennsylvania. For more than 40 years, GEC has been producing state-of-the-art blow molding systems used worldwide by leading plastic resin converters.

GEC originated as a “design engineering” company. In 1963, the Company was incorporated. From the very outset, GEC of York, Pennsylvania, has served as the technological core that has spawned and supported other Graham manufacturing businesses. Today, GEC is recognized for building the world’s most widely used machinery for high-speed extrusion blow molding of plastic bottles. GEC’s major developments have advanced the overall company capabilities with co-extrusion up to seven layers, in-mold labeling, recycling technology, sterile blow molding, clear view stripe and no-splash pouring features. In addition to extrusion blow molding, GEC provides, engineering services, and ongoing technical support to its customers.

In 1994, GEC expanded its product line to include an Accumulator Head blow molding machine for the production of large industrial type items. The accumulator head on these machines was designed to provide the quickest color change of any accumulator type blow-molding machine on the market, thus giving GEC and its customers a technological advantage.

In 1997, GEC introduced a new family of 4 and 5 station indexing wheel blow molding machines targeted for the medium to high volume production of containers requiring the benefits of a calibrated neck finish.
Since 1997, GEC has acquired additional extrusion blow molding technologies such as intermittent extrusion systems for producing monolayer HDPE bottles for milk, juice and water, systems for producing polycarbonate water bottles in a variety of shapes and sizes and continuous extrusion shuttle machine technology that offers maximum production flexibility.
