Pultrusion Processor
Description: Due to growth in the Pultrusion segment of our business Graham has an immediate opening for an experienced, hands-on Pultrusion Processor. This position is responsible for all processing and operational service functions related to polyurethane pultrusion including assisting in the conceptual design, testing and processing of pultrusion dies.
Description:
1. Perform mechanical/electrical die assembly, including mounting of electrical and mechanical components, and final mechanical assemblies without supervision.
2. Perform all electrical, pneumatic, processing, and mechanical troubleshooting and resolves any issues during the start-up process.
3. Work with project manager, assembly, sales, and engineering to ensure customer's expectations are understood, and meet all customer expectations.
4. Work with Engineering to de-bug, specify, and perform any required die revisions.
5. Perform machine/pultrusion die/system start-ups.
6. Document in writing assembly, adjustment, and machine start-up procedures.
7. Meets with customers, Sales and Engineering to lend advice on projects during the conceptual design process.
8. Recognize all die related problems and recommends corrective action to customers and mold makers to resolve problems.
Requirements:
1. Strong understanding of pultrusion technology, including both theoretical and practical engineering concepts. Preferred experience with polyurethane.
2. Excellent technical, mechanical and process troubleshooting skill required.
3. Proven ability to handle detailed information with high confidentiality, preferred.
4. Ability to read blue prints, electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams, and bill of materials (BOM), preferred.
5. Computer literate, required.
6. Good oral and written communication skills, required.
7. Physical and medical standards must be met.
Experience: A minimum of 5-10 years hands on experience in pultrusion processing, required.
Education: Degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
